Purchased by its current owner to be used as a charter vessel in local waters, the 110 ft motor yacht is undergoing a major refit. The preparation prior to the vessels arrival from the US ensured the owner had a good idea of the budget required to attain the necessary high standards.
The refit has taken place both afloat on a work dock and when required on the hard to complete the following list of jobs:
- 8 month refit
- Painting the vessel
- Full interior refit
- Installation of new crane
- New teak decks
- Fabrication of new hard bimini
- Fabrication of new bulwarks and stainless rails
- Engine re-builds
- Air con renewal
- Various engineering repairs and servicing
- Service all machinery
- Electrical refit
- Various large carpentry projects
- Prop, shaft and hull work
The work aboard the vessel was completed at the end of 2009 and the yacht is now chartering local Thai and Malay waters.
All the work has been carried out by Thai companies, the budget and timeframe has shifted from the start of the project due to an increase in the scope of work.
